    • Unopposed estrogen

    • Combination oral contraceptives

Differential diagnosis

Epidemiology

    • Most frequently occurring female genital cancer

    • Approximately 40,100 cases of corpus cancer were predicted to occur in the United States in 2008

    • Mortality is higher in black women than in white women

Aetiology

Clinical features

    • Abnormal vaginal bleeding

      • Frequently postmenopausal

    • No gross evidence of disease on the cervix and with a normal-sized uterus
